Are Men Happier Then Women? Happiness Research Finds Gender Differences

New research suggests that as men and women move through various stages in their lives, their levels of happiness do not necessarily increase exponentially, although the male research subjects seemed to be happier at later stages of their lives than their female counterparts, for a number of different reasons. By analysing the data collected, researchers were able to establish a “happiness scale” using a range of parameters, and by placing their subjects’ information along the scale at varying times during their lives, they came up with some results that were reasonably predictable, and some which were quite surprising.
