She Was Proud To Have A Second Interview
She looked over all her shirts for girls hanging in her closet. When she held it next to the black skirt it looked good. I cannot let anything look unprofessional today. She dabbed some lotion on her cheeks, chin and forehead and smoothed it over her face. She stayed cool in front of her fan till she finished putting on the shirt and skirt.
Pulling on her skirt as she checked the time and put on her watch at the same time. It was gold so she looked for gold earrings. The medium size hoops were a good match. She added a gold and diamond bracelet that was a favorite piece of jewelry.
She filled her brown leather hobo bag with car keys, wallet and all the things she needed to take. She matched a pair of brown leather shoes to the purse. She checked for runs in her pantyhose. It was imperative that she look coordinated today.
After seeing the scuffs on the toes, she cast aside her women’s brown boots and chose the shoes. Her interview was scheduled for 2:30 PM. She slowly walked out to keep herself cool and calm. She got in the driver seat carefully so she would not get her skirt wrinkled.
Her favorite song played on the radio. Lady GaGa blasted out of the radio and she smiled in response to the words. My first paycheck will buy me as many CDs as I want she thought to herself.
She loved music and everything about it. She loved American Idol and voted for her favorite. The singers fascinated her. She knew all the details of their lives. She listened to all the songs and memorized the words. It was close to an obsession with her.
He was the young guy who sang terribly but was so earnest about it, everyone loved him. He did not win. However, he made a CD and sold quite a few copies. He earned enough money to take singing lessons, but he was a one hit wonder.
She parked the car and saved the ticket as she memorized the floor and location her car was left in. One time she had spent hours wandering through a parking structure. Never again she told herself and that is why she was so careful each time she parked.
She entered the store and noticed she had a half hour to wait for her interview. She had time for a cup of tea while she waited. He will hire me because this is my second interview, she murmured to herself as she sipped her tea. I really hope to work in the toy department. It will be so much fun, especially if the kids are young. She did feel very confident about her new job and being hired for it today.
